Leopard Gecko Shedding

When we got back from Frank's birthday at the farm, Snoozy (my leopard gecko) was in the molded section of the waterfall. Its skin was really grey looking..ghost like looking. I (Jake) thought he/she was dead. Maxim brought up that he/she might be shedding.
We looked it up online and it did say that leopard geckos do go grey/whitish before shedding. A few minutes later, dad called me. Snoozy has started eating its own shed. Leopard geckos eat their shed for nutrients. I got the camera and recorded it on you tube. Have a loo for yourself.
How lucky were we to get back on time to see Snoozy shedding!
Don't worry if your leopard gecko is looking all grey, it's probably about to shed soon.

Yep, there's actually alot of valuable vitamins/minerals in it's shedding so eating it is really healthy for your little guy. Be careful that you get all of it's shedding off though or it could cause irritation according to: https://funwithlife.org/leopard-gecko/shedding/ . They recommend a gentle bath so they can get it all off.
Thanks for sharing the video and images Jake, its a cool process to view!
